Weekly Challenges
Here is the next challenge I am going to be doing! This is pretty exciting stuff for me because I don't consider myself very organized. So this is a great time for me to turn over a new leaf and these new weekly challenges are going to be awesome! Join me in this new challenge!
Week in pictures
Here are some pictures I was able to get this past week while we laid around trying to get better...in all aspects!

My poor sick baby! Look at how yucky she feels...you can definitely see it in her eyes! Poor baby girl!

CaUtIoN!!~
I think it may be safe to say that we have had quite the week in our house! Last Saturday Ryan sprained his ankle....pretty bad I might add and hasn't been able to move as well this past week so he took a couple of days off of work. Poor guy....although it was hard for me to have sympathy for him (which I have apologized for...) and I do feel bad because he was in a lot of pain. Sydnee came down with something so nasty! Poor girl had a double ear infection, croupe and fever...she could hardly hold her head up! One day I sat her on the floor and she just toppled right over! She wanted to lay on us and sleep pretty much all week. So I have been the care taker of these people and of course the other two kiddos who both get headcolds this week. Yay! Then Wednesday evening while making dinner I burned my hand and I got a nice blister to show for that. I think we need to put "caution" tape around our house because we have been a total case this week! Hopefully with the start of a new week we will be back to our normal selves.... Ryan has been doing some rehabilitation on his ankle which has helped tremendously! Sydnee can hold her head up and she is looking and feeling better every day. Rylee and Nate still have colds but Tis the Season, folks! My hand is on the mend...still has a nice blister but isn't hurting like it did any longer. So...here's to hoping for a less traumatic week! Maybe I will be able to finish blogging about my 21 days of organization which I did and pretty much finished (except my photos)...just not really any great pictures to go with the days...darn it!

Darn Ankle!!!!!!!!!
Well I was told I had to get on here and post and let everyone know why Tris hasnt done any of her Organization, its all because of me and my ankle, sprained it playing church ball, went up to get a rebound and came down on somones foot, between the crunching and popping that I felt it is a Moderate to Severe sprain, luck me right, thanks to Tris for taking care of me and helping out, I know I am sure not much help around the house since it happened.

Day 18: Keepsakes
Today was to organize Keepsakes but I must admit that I don't really have much in this area. At least that I can really think of. I have started a little stack of things from Nathan's first year in Elementary School...Kindergarten but I have only kept a few things so far. Hopefully I will be able to keep on top of it and keep it organized as my kids get older and we hold on to more keepsakes. So sorry no pictures today! :( Tomorrow there will be some good ones....hopefully!
Day 17: Mail System
Here is my mail system that definitely did NOT work! It's the black baskets stacked with all that STUFF!
So I took the idea from A bowl full of lemons and this is the new one that I hope I can MAKE work! Here's to getting organized!

Life...pure sweetness!
Here is what our day consisted of...
Sydnee is getting pretty close to crawling so somehow she gets to anything she wants! Today it happened to be Nate's camera he left on the floor. To get there she was putting her bum in the air and then pushing herself forward with her feet. She is just too funny.
Day 16: Refrigerator
Okay so I feel like I say the same things everytime I post another organization post. I won't bore you with a long post. I did get rid of somethings that were old and definitely outdated! Then I scrubbed all the shelves out and put the things back in where they needed to be. Here are the results!

Day 14: Under Bathroom Sink
Yuck! I definitely have under the sink issues...ya know...not really knowning what to do with all of that "junk"! So I took a trip to Big Lots today (after seeing that A bowl full of lemons goes there for storage stuff) and got some baskets to hopefully help organize under the sink better and all around my house! I got a bit carried away today and even did the drawers in my bathroom in between our sinks but I will not post those in case that's another day.

Day 13: Medicine Cabinet(s)
Saturday was the medicine cabinet and we haven't had medicine cabinets for very long we just installed some a couple of months ago...so not too bad in the way of organizing. I really just did some straightening.

Day 12: Spice Cabinet
I am still plugging along with my organization each day. I even got myself a little gift today for doing all of this work...a label maker! Wahoo! So fun right?! Now I have to go back and label a whole bunch of things!
On another note I did the spice cabinet today and really it doesn't look much different. Ryan and I decided we need to go to the dollar store and see what kind of baskets we can get that will fit into the cabinets and more storage tubs/bins. Here are the results of today's work!

Day 11: Freezer
Today was my freezer. I was surprised by how many bananas I have frozen! Ryan told me I need to make banana bread now so I suppose I better do that soon. Anyway, I am pretty happy with how it turned out although it may not look very organized I think it is much better than before! It's good to know what I have in there so when I go to the store I don't have to guess...now I guess I better take an inventory of our freezer out in the garage too! lol

Day 3: Tupperware Cabinet
Sorry I am skipping around now...the last one I need to catch up on is Day 2 and I am procrastinating because it is the computer desk and mine is definitely NOT pretty! So here is Day 3 the tupperware cabinet. I guess my kitchen cabinets and drawers aren't very terrible yet since we have only lived here for 9 months? But don't worry the countertops are RIDICULOUS though! This is what I am trying to work on now...put things away where they go... Anyway on with the tupperware drawer for me...I just straigtened mine up and stacked the right ones and took out a couple of things that need to go into the storage room (jam jars etc...) and I was finished...pretty simple.

I am going to post a couple of days that I hadn't done since I joined late. Here is the day 1 which was a junk drawer which in my case I just did 2 drawers that are right next to each other and the real bad place which was my counter above those drawers. I think the counter is one of my favorite turn outs along with my linen closet. What do you think?!

I have been trying to play catch up these past couple of days since I have been home taking care of my sick little girl! Hopefully tomorrow life will be a little more back to normal and I will be able to get out of the house for a little bit too. I definitely need some containers and such for my organizing kick. Today I got to organize my laundry room which had become a storage for all of our painting supplies while we are in the midst of that. I am glad I got to clean it up and get it looking much better. ~dAy 9: ToY rOoM~
Today was to organize a toy room. I have toys in several rooms...the basement being the "main" toy room but not really an important room since it isn't even finished yet. I opted to clean Nate's room since it has been driving me crazy with the junk he keeps in it. Before Christmas he had a place for everything and when he got new things for Christmas he just hadn't found a good place to put everything. It didn't take me too long to organize it all since I do this every 2-3 months but I do want to get a label maker and do labels for the front of his bins. I had him take some more toys downstairs that don't get played with as often and I got rid of a garbage can full of stuff too. All in a days work I suppose! I need to get some more of these bin organizers from IKEA for the girls room...I them!

Day 8 Coat Closet
Today was the coat closet. Our coat closet isn't really a 'coat' closet. It is as you walk in from the garage and really our utility closet...we hang our coats on a coat hanger in the living room. I thought it wouldn't really take too long since there isn't too much stuff in there but I got in and did much more than just organize! I took everything out and had forgotten that it had never gotten wiped down when we moved in. I decided I would wipe it all down and then I got out the paint and painted the closet as well. (we are right in the middle of painting our whole house so why not just tackle this while I have it empty!?) I am still not completely done because we are going to put in shelves on one side to have more storage, I haven't completely finished painting the shelf and above that but this will have to do for now.
