What would you do?

On Sunday Ryan and I got the kids together after church to take some pictures since they were in their Christmas outfits. We wanted to get a picture of them with the dog since she is the newest member of our family this year. The kids were relatively good for the pictures right before I got the dog...which we had only taken TWO pictures before the dog was in the picture. Then after the dog was in the picture it went downhill. The kids or the dog in every picture wasn't being good. My question for you all is...would you rather put a cute picture of JUST your kids in the Christmas card or just an OK picture of the the kids and the puppy. I would feel bad sending a card without the dog but I don't know what to do now! The kids are just not easy to photograph with the dog! Help!!

Thoughts on Twilight

Many months ago my friend Mikaila called me up and asked if I wanted to go to the Twilight movie at midnight the night it opened, apparently someone she knew had rented a whole theater out and was selling tickets. Of course I agreed because I definitely wanted to see it so last night Mikaila and Janna came and picked me up and off we went at 11pm. I was already tired but ready to have fun! I have to say that I loved the movie. I know a lot of people who just liked it or were disappointed but I really enjoyed it. I like Edward even MORE than before; he was so good in the movie! So mysterious...I really liked all the characters and thought they did a really good job. I can't wait to go see it again! :)

Squished!!

I took Nathan to preschool this morning and then I ran to the grocery store. After I got back I had a couple of friends come over who I went scrapbooking with a while back and their little girls. My MIL loaned me her Cricut machine so I could do some scrapbooking with it and so Heather, Mikaila and I had a fun time playing around with it! We even did some vinyl lettering on it! Lots of fun! The girls were so good too...we even had one extra child; Calli since Heather was babysitting. When the boys got out of school they came to our house and it was chaos but lots of fun! We made them lunch and they watched cartoons and played with toys. Here are some of the kids watching tv. We need another couch! haha

Long weekend

On Friday my SIL Alexis called and said they were coming up to visit for the long weekend since Wade took Monday off and had Tuesday off. We were pretty excited since we haven't had the kids together to play in FOREVER! It seems like everytime we will see each other one of the kids has some yucky sickness but NOT this time! Yay for healthy kids! We had fun on Saturday we got together with my uncle Rob and his family and went to the Utah basketball game and then had a BIG family dinner with everybody that night. The kids loved playing together so it made for loud conversation but so good! Sunday we got together again for dinner at my mom's with my brother and his family and then we went and visited my grandparents who I haven't gone to see for a while! (Shame on me!) Monday we went to IKEA and played all day with cousins! We went to dinner at Cowboy Grub (Nathan's favorite because they have FREE rides) and had a good time. It was a fun time with cousins and lots of family! We are so glad Wade and Alexis came to visit since we won't be seeing them for a while! We love you guys!
Here are the pictures I got of the visit...haha Not very many but here they are!

I babysat for my friend one night and all of the kids had to go look at the rain/snow hitting the window.

Uncle Wade giving Rylee loves after she fell down. Sweet huh?

Caitlyn, Rylee and Elsa...can't tell that Caitlyn and Elsa are sisters can ya?! They look so cute!

Disney on Ice

Last night we took the kids to Disney on Ice since we got a steal of a deal for the tickets! Anyway, they really enjoyed it and Nathan could NOT wait for it to start! He kept on asking where Mickey Mouse was or where Woody was. He really enjoyed it and sat in his own chair for most of the time! Rylee sat on my lap and she was dancing like nobody's business! Everytime she would see Mickey or Minnie Mouse she would say "Mi Mou!" She kept kicking the girl in front of us and then she would tap the lady next to me and say hi or something. Good thing she liked kids and wasn't annoyed by Rylee but I can't say the same for the girl and her mom in front of us. Oops! If you ask Nathan who his favorite character was he will tell you "I loved them all!" What a cutie! I had never been to Disney on Ice and it was so fun! I definitely think I want to take my kids again! These are the only pictures I got (that turned out okay) with my cell phone because I left my camera in the car on accident! :::Kicking myself right now::::

I Voted

Yay for me I went and voted today! I dropped Nathan off at preschool this morning and went to the elementary school. I walked in and the two tables were both asking me to come sign in at their table. Hello?! I guess so many people went and early voted that it left ZERO line for me to stand in! Or else no one is voting! Ryan voted just after 8 this morning and got right in as well...so GO VOTE!

Pre & Post Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year at our house! We carved pumpkins on Monday night and by Halloween night they were looking pretty sad but they did have a light in them for Halloween and looked okay. Thanks to Auntie Angie for the costumes...Nathan was a SCARY Lion and Rylee was the sweetest Piglet that there ever was! We took them around trick or treating and they got lots of candy but Rylee was mad that she couldn't go through her bag on the way to houses because she just wanted the candy that was in her bag already! Forget the other houses...let's just go home and eat this stuff! Funny enough when we got home neither of the kids wanted any candy instead they wanted an apple. That made me happy since they had had enough candy for the day already. Before trick or treating Ryan, Nathan and I went outside and planted lots of tulips and hyacinths for springtime. Nathan was a big helper and would get the bulb and throw it in the hole that I would dig. He is pretty excited to see these flowers that we planted together bloom in the spring. Good times! Here are some pictures from this past week(ish).

Apparently Nathan thought he might sneak Roxy in his bag to go trick or treating with us...

Don't worry, Roxy went trick or treating with us...in her little Halloween t-shirt.
