cHaNgE

Thank heavens we are back in business here...by that I mean that our house is for a moment, healthy. We have had a stomach flu and everyone but Ryan has gotten it. I haven't been taking too many pictures but I have been taking care of sick kidlets! Yuck!

I have been in serious need of a haircut lately just feeling like my hair was boring and needed a style again. I finally called and got an appointment with the lady who cuts my hair. Before Ryan went to work Tuesday morning he asked me how much I was going to cut off and I told him probably not very much I think I might grow it out for a while. I told him not very much maybe an inch because I know if I came home with just the little bit I was telling him he always gives me a hard time and tells me that it's hardly worth the money if I am JUST going to cut off the "inch or little bit". I was trying to prepare him so I didn't get a guilt trip or somethin'. She put some color in my hair and while I was sitting under the dryer I picked up a binder with haircuts in it and started looking. I found some cute ones but the one I really liked was much shorter than I was thinking about cutting. At the last moment I decided to just "do it" and cut it the shorter style because I thought it was pretty cute. So she ended up cutting 2-3 inches off and I wasn't really sure about it while she was cutting but when I left there I L.O.V.E.D. it!! So here is the new haircut...along with my cute kiddos. They are silly when the camera comes out...Rylee never smiles when we take her picture...go figure!

Oh and also some pictures that have been on my camera lately.
Pretty short hair!!
Rylee was dressed and then she had to have her pj's on so she put them over her clothes and wore them pretty much all day. Silly girl!
Berkley and Owen came over to play the other day. So fun!

Tinkerbell

I need to post about my little girl. She is quite the 19 month old now! She has decided that she is not exactly fond of her bed anymore! She used to LOVE it and never fight us on going to sleep. Since I am trying to wean her from her binky in the softest way possible...she only gets it when she is in her crib going to bed. Lately when we lay her down and give her her binky she takes it out and hands it back to us and tells us "all done". Meaning she doesn't want her binky and she does NOT want to go to bed. If we take it from her and put it up she holds her hands up in the air for you to get her out of her bed. We lay her back down without her binky since she didn't want it and she just cries! She sits in her bed and cries "Mama!! Mama!!" Over and over again! It breaks my heart but we let her cry it out and fall asleep because she NEEDS the sleep. What a little stinker huh?!
But she is a cute stinker...and sometimes she gets called Tinker. She loves Tinkerbell...she has PJ's, clothes and a movie that are all Tinkerbell. She says "T-bell" when she sees anything with Tinkerbell on it and gets pretty excited about it! She is quite the girl lately but we love our Rylee girl who goes to Nursery every Sunday like a big girl!

This was one morning when she was eating cereal like normal and I went to check and see if she was done and there she was taking her spoon filled with milk and pouring it over her head! It was so funny! She had crusty hair the rest of the day but we had a good laugh over it!

Rylee likes to wear my sunglasses when I let her. I thought this was a funny picture of her...looks like she has bug eyes!

Informal Family Pictures

We did some very informal family pictures while we were together as a family with my siblings. We didn't make anyone buy clothes or told people what colors to wear...we just took them in whatever we wore that day. Pretty simple and easy. We just wanted a picture of (almost) everybody together. These are some of the pictures we had on our camera and they turned out pretty good!

The grandkids with Nana and Papa. Caitlyn definitely didn't want her picture taken so this was as good as you got with her. It's priceless with her arms folded and that look! :)

Sledding

My older brother Wade and his family came into town the day before New Year's Eve so we almost had every single person here from my family (we were only missing my BIL Spencer). My niece Caitlyn wanted to go out in the snow so we took the kids and went sledding at the park we grew up sledding at! So fun! Angie and I went so we could take pictures but we ended up taking our own turn sledding as well! We all had a really fun time! I think the two that had best time were Ryan and Papa! We were all walking back to the car and they wouldn't leave the hill because they wanted to get "some air" on the way down. It was a lot of fun and I am sure we will be sledding again this year!

The group...
Nate and Ryan's first ride down.

My dad riding the saucer down...

Morgan went down by herself on the littler hill and was trying to get off in the middle of the hill!

Wade and Caitlyn walking to the "big" hill.

Caitlyn smiled the whole way down everytime!!

Angie and I laughed the whole way down....it was fun!

My dad (Papa) getting some air on the way down!

Birthday Celebrations

On the 29th of December it was my mom's birthday. My sister Angie and my niece Morgan flew in the day before for a visit! Yay! So for my mom's birthday I took her to Twilight and lunch with my sister. It was so much fun to have my sister here to visit! We hadn't seen her since Rylee was only 6 weeks old so it was a visit much over due! We had a lot of fun for her birthday...my sister made her homemade soup for dinner and then bought her the yummiest cake from Mrs. Backer's bakery...so good! What a fun day! Happy Birthday mom, you are the greatest mom and Nana ever!

Nathan likes his cupcake from Mrs. Backer's...can you tell???

Rylee enjoying her cupcake from Mrs. Backer's bakery...yummy!

Ryan spoils Roxy everytime it snows. He goes out and shovels her a part in the grass so she doesn't have to go in the snow to go potty! He loves that dog doesn't he?! I wouldn't even do that for her! Ryan wanted to see what she would do if she was out in the snow but she definitely didn't sink because this picture is of her on the lower level of the backyard walking on the snow. Now she loves to go out in or on the snow!

Dare Devil

She has attempted this stunt so many times I gave up counting and we just laugh because she is too funny when she keeps going back for more! She would hold her hand up like a gymnast and then just fall. Eventually she got even more daring and would just free fall onto the other couches and into our arms even if we weren't paying attention! She is so crazy! She has NO fear whatsoever. Kinda scary as her parents ya know?!

Christmas Day Pictures

I already blogged about how crazy our Christmas Day was...with no power, Roxy being electrocuted, driving in snow blizzards and such...I thought I would post some pictures of our day.

Christmas Eve 2008

Christmas Eve we had a fun time at Nana and Papa's. We had a nice dinner and we played games! Our favorite thing to do! We bought ourselves a new camera with money that Ryan's parents gave us so these are the pictures from it! I love it! It's really nice but it's taken me forever to finally hook it up to the computer and post them.
