Preschool 2009

This year I put Nathan in a preschool with a lady named Miss Becky who teaches out of her home. She is the sweetest lady and Nathan loves preschool! There are about 17 kids in his class and it amazes me how she keeps them under control! She is a ball of energy and Nathan has learned so much already from her. Here are the pictures I took of him on his first day this year.

Last Days of Summer

My friend Mikaila and I took the kids to a little splash park before the summer came to a close and school started (aren't you proud of me...I am only blogging a season behind?) I think this was right before school started. The kids had a really good time running in the water, eating pizza and enjoying the sun and each others company!

Our Family Vacation 2009

This year for our family getaway we were very fortunate to get to go back to a place that I grew up going to almost every summer. In Island Park, Idaho my dad's uncle has owned a cabin since before I was born in fact my parents went on their honeymoon there...since my great uncle has passed away we haven't been up there very much but one of my dad's cousins now runs it and let us go back to visit. We used to take regular family vacations up there and I have many fond memories. I knew this place was definitely right up Ryan's alley since he loves the outdoors! So we planned on lots of out door fun activities for our week there. Mostly pictures so enjoy!!

On our ride up....

We stopped in Blackfoot, Idaho where my grandpa's siblings are buried.

In the back of the cabin...she just wants to go higher and higher!

Just hanging out in the cabin...

Nathan's timeout...

In front of the cabin...I believe this is the water well or something.

Big Springs: A cabin we hiked to...the guy (can't remember his name) found a fresh water spring that comes up from the ground. We got to feed the fish there a couple of different times.

We went to a rodeo and dinner with dancing one night...Rylee loved it and was not afraid of the horses that were within an arms distance running by her.

Rylee went out and danced with one of the girls doing line dancing...total stranger...Rylee didn't care she just wanted to dance!

One afternoon we rented a flat bottom boat and floated down the Snake River (Henry's Fork). We had a great time watching the fish jump like crazy!! Nathan couldn't wait to get done but then he kept asking to go back again.

We loved seeing all sorts of wildlife...especially this moose who was just down from the cabin. I got pretty close to her taking pictures if you can't tell.

This moose had a bull with her but he was back in the trees so we didn't get a good picture of him...he was big though!

Ryan and my dad did LOTS of this...they would say not enough I am sure but they went fishing quite a bit. Ryan got this awesome picture of my dad one morning...too bad they didn't take anymore photos!

This was our last morning in front of the cabin before we left....Rylee had just passed out so she was sleeping in my dad's arms while my mom took the picture.
We spent 2 days in Yellowstone while we stayed at the cabin. It wasn't very far so we took advantage of our pass of 7 days! Here are some pictures of the amazing Yellowstone! Ryan had never been there so this was definitely a must do on our vacation. We even saw a bear the second day we drove through!
Old Faithful...

The bear we saw....this made lots of cars stop! Can you see the bear right in the middle of the picture?

I just wanted to mention that I will be putting up lots of blogs....I am trying to catch up before this year ends...My list of things to do.

Halloween and October

Well I told Tris that she has been slacking lately on the Blogging, and her answer to me was she just hasn't had anytime, So I decided I better let everyone know that we are still here. We are still living with Tristens' parents and are in search of that house, we have put offers in on 3 houses with the last one being Tristens' Dream house, cross your fingers, it would be a great house with lots of room to grow. The thing that is frustrating about the 3 houses are that they are short sales, and they can take a little while. So we are left waiting.

I took Nathan Deer Hunting with me this year, sad thing is, we saw a lot of nice bucks but didn't get to even shoot at them, something to do with Private property and the Deer not doing what they should do( or what you want them to do), well short story I was just not too lucky this year. Nathan had a great time and he got to spend some time with Grandpa Green River. Thanks Dad and Greg, even though we were unsuccessful and it was short, we had a great time and thats all that matters.
Last Night we went Trick or Treating with the kids last night, we had a great time, Rylee was making us laugh all night, people would answer the door and she would say "I am a pumpkin and Nathan Buzz lightyear" then they would hold out the bowl and say take one, and she would grab two or three. Not to leave Nathan out, he just loves Toy story, and on his chest pack he has buttons that talk like Buzz in the Movie, and when he pushed the buttons he would do the actions with his arm and point into the Galaxy.

The latest on us...

We are still alive and kicking here in our house! Haha No really it just seems like the kids have taken all of my time and energy lately with little computer time to blog....okay and I am a Facebook addict as well. I will admit that. Just a little update. We are doing good here at Nana and Papa's house still and we are on the look for a house. Maybe one day we will find that perfect place! Last month my little brother Corey came home from his 2 year mission for our church and my kids have been his shadows ever since! I know I said this on Facebook but some of the people who read this don't have facebook...but we are expecting a baby in April. April 16th to be exact...which is my little brother's birthday. I am just over 12 weeks along and we couldn't be more excited! That is also a huge reason why I haven't blogged. I have been pretty sick this pregnancy which is unlike my other 2! Kind of annoying! I will feel really good for a stretch of days and then BAM! I feel terrible for 2 or 3 days and then good again and so on...
Hopefully soon I will be feeling better! We have been to the doctor and we had an ultrasound. I go back to the doctor this week for another check up. Good stuff!
We were out of town a whole bunch in September! We were at Ryan's cousins wedding, Green River for Melon Days and Las Vegas for our new niece Samantha's blessing! Nathan had all of last week off of preschool since it was UEA so it will be so nice to have him back at school this week. He got really stir crazy even though we were constantly doing things! I think the structure he gets at preschool really carries home and it helps him control himself at home. Alright well there is a brief update on our family for now. I hope I can get some MUCH needed blogs up this week!

Water Park fun

Before we moved we were able to go to a ward party at the Rec Center by our house. It was rented out by our ward and another ward in our stake for a night. It was a lot of fun to go and just visit with friends while the kids got to go swim and play in the water with daddy! :) Daddy is such a great sport! We definitely miss our ward over there but it's fun to look at these pictures and remember the fun times we had!
We are on our way to go swim...serious stuff! lol

The Stirling's...definitely going to miss them! We always sat in front or in back of them in Sacrament meeting and love their family! I served in the Beehives and Laurels with her as the YW president.
These are our two GREATEST babysitters ever! Seriously these girls are so wonderful! They were my beehives and babysitters and I love them like my own kids! Raegan and Kilee...my kids definitely miss you and want you to babysit soon! :)
