Summertime fun

This summer has been very busy but lots of fun with cousins, swimming, Lagoon, friends and more swimming!! We have been swimming at least 3 times each week and the kids are becoming little fish in the water now! Rylee jumps off the diving board too many times to count each time we swim and Nathan is getting more comfortable in the water too. He is now jumping off the side lots of times and even off the diving board a few times! They love the water and they want to go every day to grandma and grandpa C's house.
All of the cousins on my side of the family. Elsa, Nathan holding Sydnee, Caitlyn holding Sam, Rylee and Morgan.

Lagoon

The last part of June we were able to get tickets for stake Lagoon day. Ryan was going to go with us but he was called out on a fire down in Flagstaff so he left that morning when we left to go have fun! I hadn't been to Lagoon since I was about 10 or 11 years old so it was a lot of fun to take my kids and let them ride all the fun rides! My neice Morgan was in town from California, my cousin Julie (who is Morgan's age), me, my 3 kids, my mom and my brother Corey all went. One of the very first rides we went on was the white roller coaster and Nathan was just tall enough to go. He rode with me which was good because he didn't know what to think of that. It was his first big roller coaster and probably not the one I should have taken him on! It is so jerky and he could barely keep his head up and chin off his chest! Poor guy! So after that he decided to stick to the kid rides which was fine with me because we were there for my kids to have lots of fun! After we got hot and tired we decided to go to the water park there and cool off. We played in the water and went down the kids slides mostly while Corey took Julie and rode the big water slides. I can't wait to take my kids back again soon...this time with their dad! Anyone have stake Lagoon day passes?? :)
I love this picture of my kids because there is a picture of my brother Wade and I in these same boats when we were little! :)
Nathan is really into the gun shooting some kid...
Morgan and Julie shooting some kids...
These cars were such a hit with the kids! They rode them several times throughout the day.

All the kids on a ride with Uncle Corey!

Coach Daddy

This year for t-ball Ryan signed up for an assistant coach because it's his busy season in work. To Ryan's surprise at the meeting he had to be the coach because no one else signed up. He was there for all but one game and the team pictures but what can ya do?? Nate loved having his dad as the coach and Ryan is...well...glad its over but he enjoyed coaching one of his favorite sports for Nathan! hehe Here are the pictures of this years t-ball! (Nate's t-ball team was the Red Bees. The teams were all the Bees just different colors.)

Kids in the front seats...means all the buttons will be pushed and everything will be different when mom and dad actually get in! :)

A couple of Nate's buddies...Nick, Nate and Lee (one of Nate's best buds!)
This was Ryan's last game so we had to get a picture of him and some of the boys! What a fun season we had!

Zoo fun

My mom bought a zoo pass this year so we have been lucky enough to go lots of times already! My kids L.O.V.E. the zoo and all the different things to do and see there. The day after Rylee's birthday we headed to the zoo and had a great time! Here are the pictures of our day there.

Rylee's birthday

We had lots of celebrations the last week of May and first part of June. Rylee turned 3 and we celebrated with family, friends and our new neighbors the day before her birthday (I can't find that camera yet) but here are pictures from her opening her presents the morning of her birthday with just our family. She had JUST woken up and Nathan was so excited for her to open her gifts...she also got a new bike from us the day before.

Swimming lessons

At the end of May and first part of June I put Rylee and Nathan into some swimming lessons to get them used to the water again this year and hopefully teach them some useful skills! I am happy to report that Nathan passed his tots 1 after his first session this season and then I put them in again since he seemed to be doing so well and Rylee passed Tots 1 on her second time in the class! Way to go guys! I was so proud that they both passed! I didn't put them in again but maybe later this summer we will have to see. Rylee is a little fish and has gotten so good in the water! It has made this summer so much fun because we have done lots of water fun so far and the kids are loving every minute of it!

Sydnee 2 months

I forgot to post these pictures of Sydnee at about 2 months...These were taken at the very beginning of June. She has been the best baby. She is very different from my other kids because she LOVES being on her tummy! So since she was about 2 weeks old I had her sleeping on her tummy because she would cry and scream on her back. We were able to get good sleep while she slept on her tummy too. But I started feeling really worried about it because they tell you all about SIDS and stuff so when I took her for her 2 month check up (only over 2 weeks after she turned 2 months) I asked her doctor about it. He once again told me that I really should put her on her back but then again most of us as babies laid on our tummies. She got her 2 month shots and she was the most miserable I have ever seen her the whole rest of the day. When the tylenol would wear off she just screamed and you couldn't move her or her legs cause they hurt so bad! She ended up sleeping on her back that night and has slept on her back ever since. I didn't want her on her tummy that night because her legs hurt but ever since she has been just find on her back...guess the doctor was right...she would get used to it. Poor little Syd! Good thing it was an afternoon appointment because the next day she was just fine. At her 2 month appointment she was just over 11 lbs. and about 22 1/2 inches tall. She is just a little below average but perfect nonetheless!! We love our sweet little girl!
