Walk for the Wach's

In our old ward we had many great families and friends. We have kept in touch through blogs and facebook mostly but it is really nice to have a connection still! We had a unique opportunity to help one such family last Saturday morning. We got to walk a 5K for the Wach family. The dad, Chris had pancreatic cancer over a year ago and now he has been diagnosed with back/neck cancer that will be fatal eventually. He has 5 children and the oldest was one of my Laurels when I taught the Laurels and his youngest is about 4 years old. We miss this great family and wish them the very best! My brother and his family were up for Sydnee's blessing so he came and ran it. My parents also came and pushed my neice Caitlyn in the stroller; while Ryan and I had our 3 kids...2 of them in the stroller and Nathan walked about 3 miles of it! We finished in about 53 minutes...not too bad for having a c-section 7 weeks ago, pushing a double stroller and a 5 year old walking!
