For the 24th of July holiday we usually go down to Monroe for their celebration. My kids love to watch the parade and get LOTS of candy! This year we went to the parade, played in the water with cousins (did I tell you my kids LIVE in the water during the summer??), played Just Dance Wii, watched fireworks (Sydnee's first fireworks she got to stay up late!), and a family reunion. It was a super weekend filled with play time with cousins which my kids think is the best part! Sydnee really started honing down her walking skills while we were there and she has taken off since! Happy Pioneer Day!

Playing out in the water
I think my kids live in their swimming suits...
He's definitely NOT afraid of getting wet!
Allie, Rylee, Nate and Kylie out in the water.
They made up their own dances to songs they like and performed them for all of the adults...this was Kung Fu Fighting
Outside waiting for the fireworks to start
Grandma brought lots of glow sticks and they loved playing with them!
Nate is proud to have a light saber glow stick
